For Storage:
When storing your INTERSTATE for extended periods, especially during the summer, it's essential to leave a small gap between the blackout blinds and flyscreens on your windows. This precaution helps prevent the magnet strip from becoming sticky in high temperatures, which can exceed 60°C inside the vehicle in some regions of Australia. Without this gap, the flyscreens and blackout screens could fuse together making them difficult to pull apart.

For Transit:
When driving, it is beneficial to lower the flyscreens fully. This will reduce any window movement that could cause transit noise. In addition, keeping the blinds down will keep the vehicle cooler, as direct sunlight won't enter the motorhome as easily.
