This user guide will help you master the operation of your new microwave.

Understanding the Beeps

Your microwave communicates with beeps:

  • One beep: The command you entered is accepted.
  • Two beeps: There's a problem with the command you've entered. Please check and try again.

Setting the Digital Clock

You can set the digital clock in either 12 or 24-hour mode. Here's how you do it:

  1. Press the CLOCK button once or twice to switch between 12 and 24-hour mode.
  2. Turn the WEIGHT/TIME dial to set the hour digit. For example, to set 8:30, turn the dial until it displays '8'.
  3. Press the CLOCK button.
  4. Rotate the WEIGHT/TIME dial to set the minute digits until the display shows '30'.
  5. Press the CLOCK button to confirm the setting.

If you need to check the clock during cooking, simply press the CLOCK button once.

Microwave Cooking

The maximum cooking time for standard microwave operation is 95 minutes. You can adjust the power level for your cooking needs.

For instance, to cook for 1 minute at 60% microwave power:

  1. Press the POWER LEVEL button repeatedly until it sets to 60% power.
  2. Rotate the WEIGHT/TIME dial to set the cooking time to 1 minute.
  3. Press the START/QUICK START button.

During cooking, if you wish to check the selected power, press the POWER LEVEL button.

Once cooking is completed, the oven will signal and display 'End'. Clear this message by pressing STOP/CANCEL or by opening the oven door before starting another cooking function.

Easy Defrost

Your oven can defrost food based on the weight you enter. The time and power level for defrosting are automatically adjusted. You can defrost food ranging from 100g to 1800g.

For example, to defrost 600g of meat:

  1. Place the meat in the oven and close the door.
  2. Press the WEIGHT DEFROST button once.
  3. Rotate the WEIGHT/TIME dial to set the weight to 600g.
  4. Press the START/QUICK START button.

The oven will pause during defrosting to remind you to turn the food over for even defrosting.

Preset/Timer

The Preset/Timer function allows you to set the oven to start at a later time.

To begin cooking at 11:30, if the current time is 11:10:

  1. Press the PRESET button.
  2. Rotate the WEIGHT/TIME dial to set the hour to '11'.
  3. Press the PRESET button.
  4. Rotate the WEIGHT/TIME dial to set the minutes to '30'.
  5. Press the PRESET button.

Ensure the food is in the oven before the cooking starts.

To check the preset time, press the PRESET button. To cancel the preset feature, press PRESET and then STOP/CANCEL.

While the preset feature is set, you can only check the preset time or set/cancel the Child Lock. If the Child Lock is set, it will automatically cancel at the preset time.

Quick Start

The Quick Start feature allows you to start the oven quickly, for up to 10 minutes. In standby mode, press the START/QUICK START button repeatedly to set the cooking time. The oven will automatically start at full power. You can extend the cooking time during the process by pressing START/QUICK START.

Multistage Cooking

With multistage cooking, you can set your oven to switch between up to 3 cooking stages. Here's how:

  1. Press the STOP/CANCEL button to reset the oven's system.
  2. Select the first microwave cooking program and set the desired cooking time.
  3. Press the 'Multistage Cooking' button.
  4. Select the second microwave cooking program, choose a lower power level and set the cooking time.
  5. Press the START/QUICK START button to start cooking.

After the first program ends, the oven will beep and the display will show 'DE-', indicating the start of the next cooking stage. The oven lights will signal which stage is in operation.

When all stages are complete, the oven will beep to signal the end of the cooking process.

Please note that Quick Start, Easy Defrost and Auto Cook cannot be set in the multistage cooking mode. Ensure you select the appropriate power levels and cooking times for each stage for the best cooking results.

With this guide, you're ready to take full advantage of your Camec microwave's features. Happy cooking!
