Fresh Water Tank

Your INTERSTATE motorhome is equipped with a 90L fresh water tank. Filling up your INTERSTATE motorhome with fresh water is a straightforward process. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you:

Step 1: Gather the necessary supplies

Make sure you have a blue hose (provided with the motorhome from new).

Step 2: Locate the water filler cap

The water filler cap is located at waist height on the passenger-side exterior of the motorhome between the sliding door and rear wheel.

Step 3: Unlock the water filler cap

The water filler cap will require unlocking. You can use the right key provided to unlock it.

Step 4: Prepare the blue hose

Take the blue hose and ensure it has no fitting attached to one end (the one that will go in the water filler). If there is a fitting, remove it by twisting it off or disconnecting it. Place the hose 5cm into the filler neck.

Step 5: Connect the hose to the water supply

Locate a suitable water supply source near your motorhome. Attach the appropriate fitting to the end of the blue hose that will be connected to the tap, ensuring it securely connects to the water supply.

Step 6: Turn on the water supply

Turn on the water supply at the tap.

Step 7: Monitor the filling process

Keep an eye on the water level or listen for the sound of water filling the tank. Be cautious not to overfill the tank, as it may cause water to overflow.

Step 8: Watch for water flow back

As the tank approaches its capacity, water flows back out of the fill port. This is an indication that the tank is nearly full. At this point, you may turn off the water supply.

Step 9: Disconnect and stow the hose

Once the tank is full and water begins to flow back out, disconnect the hose from the fill port. Remove the hose carefully, ensuring no water spills inside the motorhome. Store the hose in a suitable location.

Step 10: Secure the water filler cap

Lock the water filler cap back into place, ensuring it is tightly sealed to prevent leaks during travel.
