Your INTERSTATE motorhome is equipped with a 60L grey water tank. Emptying the grey water tank from an INTERSTATE motorhome is a straightforward process. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you:

Step 1: Gather the necessary supplies

Make sure you have the black corrugated hose with cam-lock attachment (provided with the motorhome from new) and locate a suitable drain nearby.

Step 2: Locate the grey water outlet

The grey water outlet is located on the drivers side exterior about midway along the motorhome. Look for an outlet with a handle under the vehicle.

Step 3: Attach the cam-lock fitting

Take the cam-lock fitting and clip it onto the grey water outlet by pulling back the silver pins. Ensure it is securely attached, as this connection will prevent leaks during the emptying process.

Step 4: Feed the other end of the hose to a drain

Feed the other end of the corrugated hose down the drain.

Step 5: Open the valve

Once the hose is securely connected and the tap is in the correct position, open the grey water tank valve. This allows the grey water to flow out of the tank and into the hose and down the drain.

Step 6: Turn on the water supply

Turn on the water supply at the tap.

Step 7: Turn off the valve

Once the grey water tank is empty and no more water is flowing through the hose, close the grey water tank valve. This prevents any backflow or leakage.

Step 8: Disconnect the hose

Disconnect the corrugated hose from the drain. Make sure to do this carefully, as there may be residual water in the hose.

Step 9: Stow the hose

Store the hose in a suitable location, ensuring it is clean and dry before storing it away.

That's it! You have successfully emptied the grey water tank from your INTERSTATE motorhome.
